Here's a direct download link to VIA's HD audio driver for Windows 10 (v11.1100f), which VIA used to list on their downloads page but not anymore. It was supposed to work with the Win10 anniversary update. Only machine that I can test the VIA audio drivers is my cousin's Dell Inspiron 546s which uses VIA 1708s audio.

So, the problem is on Operating System: Windows 10 concerning the Installation of VIA HD Audio driver.

So after I clean installed the driver and rebooted my computer, an error message appeared telling me that 'VIA HD Audio doesn't support this OS'

So, I thought that I might have downloaded a wrong, 32-bit version of the driver and I uninstalled the Via HD Audio Codec from my computer. After that I tried to Install the software again and I got the following error

So. I checked my Control Panel once more and I saw that VIA Platform Manager was still there so I clicked on it to see what is this about. Turned out it was the XHCI Controller Driver, so just to check out I tried to Uninstall it. So, as I thought I got the same error message! So its a lock-up situation. I cannot install the driver and as it suggested MSDN would help me resolve the issue.
